Principles

This privacy policy applies to curaver.com and curaver.ch. We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and only as far as needed to run the website, handle bookings and prepare the initial meeting.

Hosting and server logs

The website and our CRM run on a server we rent from Hostinger; the server is located in Germany. When you visit the website, technical data such as IP address, date and time, pages visited and browser information are recorded automatically. We need them to run the website securely and reliably and do not combine them with other data. Access logs are automatically deleted after 30 days; our server software's own technical operating logs are continuously overwritten automatically once they reach a fixed size.

Cookies and consent

Without your consent we only store what the website technically needs, for example your cookie choice and your progress in the calculator (in your browser's storage). We only load statistics and advertising services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn) if you agree in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time via «Cookie settings» at the bottom of the page.

Google Analytics

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) to measure visitor numbers, traffic sources and how the page is used, and to improve the content. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (see «Data abroad»). Without consent Google Analytics is not loaded. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Ads

With your consent we use Google Ads conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited (Ireland). If you reach our website through a Google ad, your browser remembers this and we can see whether you then, for example, book an appointment. This tells us which ads work. We do not learn who you are. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (see «Data abroad»). More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

LinkedIn

With your consent we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Ireland). It shows us how our LinkedIn ads perform and gives us aggregated information about visitors (e.g. industry or job function), but not who you are. Data may be transferred to LinkedIn Corporation in the USA (see «Data abroad»). More information: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

Appointment booking

We read available times in real time from our staff's calendars (Microsoft 365). When you book, we store your details in our own CRM: name, salutation, title, company, legal form, e-mail, phone (optional), chosen slot and preferred form of address. We add what you entered on this page (e.g. calculator inputs, chosen case) and where you came from (e.g. an ad), so we can prepare the meeting.

For the appointment we create an invitation with a Teams link in Microsoft 365; your name and e-mail go to Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland), and a transfer to the USA is possible. More information: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement

Potential calculator

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs only reach us if you book an appointment (see appointment booking).

Google reviews

We retrieve the Google reviews shown here via the Google Places API when the website is built and display them as fixed content. Visiting the website therefore sends no data about you to Google.

Contact by e-mail or phone

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details to answer your request. E-mails are handled through Microsoft 365.

Retention

We keep data from a booking for 24 months if no client relationship follows, and then delete it. If you become a client, the duration of the engagement and the statutory retention periods apply.

Data abroad

Personal data may reach these countries: Germany (hosting), Ireland (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn) and the USA (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn). According to the Swiss Federal Council, Germany and Ireland provide adequate data protection. For the USA this applies to companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn are certified.

Your rights

You can request information about your data and have it corrected, deleted or handed over. You can object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Write to us at info@curaver.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): https://www.edoeb.admin.ch

Data security

We protect your data with technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss and alteration. The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Only our staff have access to our CRM.

Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
